You can drop into ANY class, no need to book in advance just come by the studio (at 7 Burton Road, Margaret River) at the class time shown on the current timetable.
You can pay by cash or card for a casual visit.
If you like it & want to do more you can buy a term / block of classes in person or by bank transfer.
A casual class is $36 and open practice time is $24 to drop in if you aren't enrolled in a term yet or are just visiting.
If you enrol in a 7 week term classes are $30 to attend once per week ($210 for 7 classes),
$23 to attend twice per week ($330 for 14 classes or practice times), or you can enrol to attend unlimited classes/practice times for $390 for 7 weeks, which brings it down to $13 per visit if you come in 3 or 4 times per week.

We offer classes in pole dance, aerial hoop, choreography, handstands, stretch/flexibility, and open practice time.
Private lessons are available if a class environment isn't for you or you can't make the scheduled classes.

Nope. Pole courses are progressive and you gain the strength and skills that you need each week in class. If you have no experience the green foundations classes are for you, they introduce the skills that you need. It definitely helps to cross train some other strength and fitness, we can advise you on the best path for you in person at the studio.
Also nope! While these things are assets, they aren't prerequisites. We train flexibility (especially back mobility & splits) every single class so that you will gain it as you progress in your pole dance journey.
Yes! Yay. Gender is a social construct, girls, boys, thems & theys, you are all so very welcome. Come in and have a chat any time. A boy specific class taught by a male pole dancer will be coming into the timetable soon, but it will obviously be open to anyone like all our classes are because variety makes the world beautiful.
Just yourself, some short shorts (you need thigh skin to grip the pole, but you can start with longer shorts until you feel comfortable); a singlet/vest top or sports bra; a water bottle and a small towel to wipe your hands etc. We sell a range of pole dance wear and grip aids (we stock Griptonite) at the studio. You may also like to use knee pads for some of the choreography.
DON'T wear sunscreen or moisturiser or get a massage or beauty treatment involving oil or lotion on the day of class as it will make you slippery and make pole very difficult. If you are slippery have a shower or wash your hands with dish soap/a degreasing detergent before class. We have 2 showers at the studio for your convenience.
Nope. You can pop in any time & pay by cash or card as a casual visit. If you would like to do a course/ attend regularly each week you can also book and pay in person at the studio or by bank transfer with your name as a reference. Terms are 7 weeks long and the content is progressive each week so ideally starting in week 1 and attending each week will help you progress more smoothly. If we are mid term you can attend casually until the new term starts. Hop onto our socials to keep in touch and for all the latest updates. All classes run for an hour. If it's your first time it would be helpful if you arrive a few minutes early so you can fill out a new student enrolment for and wavier.
Classes begin with a full stretch warm up, focusing on splits & back/shoulder mobility as these are important for pole dancers. We then do some strength conditioning for pole or hoop, then recap previous weeks moves, learn some new ones. Finally we learn a bit of a dance routine each week over the 7 week term. By week 7 you will have learnt an entire song dance routine incorporating your pole or hoop moves. We perform these routines at our end of term showcase which is at 6pm on the last Friday of term and can be attended by you friends and family to watch you perform.
All classes are small group, there are usually between 3 to 8 people in each class so that you have the teacher's full attention and are able to be spotted and supported through your pole or hoop moves. Some classes like choreography , handstands and stretch class can accommodate up to 10 people but there is always loads of space for everyone because the studio is nice and big.
You will get to know your classmates and form lovely friendships as your progress through term. Pole dancing attracts a good sort and it's fun, so you inevitably pick up mates as you go.
The studio has step free access from the carpark to the parlour/entrance area, but one low step into the studio space from the parlour/entrance through the big heart. We would love to have a chat with you to see how we can accommodate you perfectly so you can enjoy classes with us. Neurodivergent folk please let me know if you would like quieter music or lower lights or anything that will make the space enjoyable and accessible for you.

When you enrol in a 7 week term of pole or hoop classes you are essentially buying 7 classes. You may use these however you like, if you are away one week just come to 2 classes in another week. If you are FIFO you can use all 7 classes up in the time that you are in town. You do not need to book or let us know which ones you are attending, as long as you have paid for the classes you can come to any. Same applies for a 2 class per week enrolment, you have then bought yourself 14 classes to use as you like. Ideally 2 per week, but if you are away or sick just reshuffle so that you use them up.
Classes are NOT transferrable between terms, you MUST use them up within the term that they were purchased.
