Hey guys, welcome to my Studio Page. So glad you're here.
I have been pole dancing 20+ years, all over the world. First in clubs and events, and later in Dance Studios and Theatres as my dance career has evolved. I am thrilled to be opening a big new studio in Margaret River and I can wait to share the absolute thrill of pole dancing with you all. See you in class.
How did I get into pole? Was I a *dun dun dun* STRIPPER?!
Hell YES I WAS. Best stripper in town, and before that a figure skater. As a teen I represented Great Britain in 3 World Championships and had the time of my life training and competing in my sport at the highest level. When I hung up my roller skates I had more time to work as a dancer and performer, & yes, eventually a stripper.
I have danced all over the world at the best, most prestigious clubs & later taught at some amazing dance studios. I absolutely love teaching pole dancing.
Pole dancing for me is a byproduct of my career as a stripper, & I wholeheartedly support and stand with all strippers & sex workers as the founders of this beautiful craft.
Pole is so hard, but so utterly satisfying. You'll never find a sport as beautiful, challenging and rewarding as pole. Or make lifelong friends like you do at pole. There's nothing else like it, it's a THRILL.
Pole is a serious, competitive, technical and difficult sport. With a background in sport & fitness & 20+ years pole dance experience I understand the discipline & detail required to safely master it. Here's a tiny resume dip...
*I have a cert 3 & 4 Fitness from The Australian College of Physical Education (Homebush, Sydney Olympic Park)
*I was cast by & trained by a Royal Ballet Choreographer in the longest running Burlesque Show in Australia (Risque Revue)
*I taught for 6 years employed by a professional Ballerina & experienced Paris showgirl at a dance studio in Sydney & another 6 here in Margaret River! 12+ years teaching experience & I still love it.
*I won Miss Nude NSW & have been a finalist in Miss Pole Dance NSW twice & I know how to both perform, but also compete.
Paradise Circus Pole Studio has been my brain child for 10 years. The name is a song I danced to in my first ever Pole Dance Competition in 2013: "Paradise Circus" by Massive Attack Zed's Dead remix.
I dressed as a mime clown so couldn't do any pole moves for the first minute, I just rolled around, but I placed high & it's one of my favourite routines & songs of all time. Now it is a beacon for all my students, glowing in pink neon in the dance studio.
I love to teach, I love to see my students achieve their pole goals, I love to be a part of the pole community.
Welcome, thank you for being here, I hope you love it as much as we do.
